Summer practices don’t always make for the easiest nights, but they remind us that good horsemanship comes first.When the temperatures climb, we adjust. We spend time walking the drill on the ground, talking through our runs before asking more of our horses, keep a close eye on how everyone is feeling, and make sure they get cooled down afterward.
